"Guidelines are mandated with exceptions," only proves that there is no such thing as yes and no anymore. I said this back in the Obama administration when nothing could be counted on to be definitive. So it is yet. A 2nd peeve for today is the use of "granular details" by erudite and learned writers who (I don't think) are erudite or learned - just trendy. And for the 3rd gripe of the day, I am sick of reading "amid concerns of the spread of the coronavirus." Once I've had the illness and know better for worse, I hold inside knowledge. Outsiders need not apply their useless endeavors. MY NEIGHBOR IS SHOOTING HIS GUN FOR TARGEGT PRACTICE - HOW SAFE I AM!    

Death of language

From our Governor: "Candidly we are where we are today."
From Glenn Beck: "Here we are in more days than we've ever seen before."
From a commercial: "Are you kicking yourself?"
From Gutter Helmet: "Contact supportments."
From Nanny: :Maintain extra safe stopping distance."

No brains were engaged before any one these statements were made. Language died to meaning quite some time ago. No wonder madness reins supreme during this over-rated pandemic.

Heroes of the Reich

Let's give the black party-goers in Chicago this weekend, the 'Heroes of the Reich' awards. Chicago's Mayor denigrated them as traitors and evil quarantine breakers who should be punished and ashamed. NO NO NO I say Chicago should hold a ticker-tape parade for the group that dared to live life without fear of getting sick from an exaggerated threat called Covid-19.  We have destroyed the US and the whole world. Who are (were) we who have destroyed civilization at its pinnacle of existence in 2020!  Who should be ashamed?

Your symptoms?

How did  you spend your time with Covid-19? What were your symptoms? How did you medicate? How long did it take you to recover? I'll bet it is different for each victim. I know each body deals with a crisis differently. Right? If you ask yourself why me, I have no answer. Life's mystery is that  somehow, somewhere, from someone - it has been designed. The big reveal is post death.

IT MIGHT BE CALLED PPP FOR PAYROLL PROTECTION PLAN, BUT IT'S AN UNBELIEVABLE WASTE OF MONEY - AND INSANITY OF CRIMINAL PROPORTIONS.  My daughter who works in another country, files income tax here, got her $1200 check. Since her husband also works, she does not need the money. She does not live or work here!!! The check comes to my address, where I and my significant other also file income tax as senior citizens but DO NOT GET ANY MONEY. NO MONEY. NO MONEY. NO MONEY. We can't spend the daughter's money can we? PPP from our government is a total sham.  Politics has bankrupted our beloved country now and FOREVER. We cannot expatriate to another country - even where the daughter lives.  Why?  Why?  I ask myself why?

These words begin a commercial by Glenn Beck for JSB Home Solutions.  How can anyone listen to anything anyone says when virtually nothing anyone says makes a word of sense? I've been asking this question every day since I can't remember when. Words mean nothing; those who utter words have no idea what they are saying. Speed talking is in;  thinking before one speaks is out. What's my next pet peeve? What's yours?  

70 million

Do you know what 1% of the world's population would be if the coronavirus took a 1% toll? 70,000 million lives. What do we have today as  mortality to account for the destruction of our civilized world and beloved America as a result of a crisis not going to waste?  Approximately 170,000 deaths. Really. Of course, if you've had or have the virus and have been or are really sick, you know that if you have not died, the rate of survival is still astounding. So think about the facts and not the fiction.    

Old normal

A radio host said "you can't keep working people down."  Duh! Talk of a 'new normal' is just talk. What's truly dangerous, however, is talk from the WHO's European office that urged a tightening of rules on access to alcohol during the Covid-19 pandemic. " Alcohol consumption is associated with a range of communicable and non-communicable diseases and mental health disorders, which can make a person more vulnerable to COVID-19." God forbid - this nonsense becomes the new normal in thought. Alcohol itself helps prevent disease and promotes health (in moderation). An agenda-driven everything -  God forbid - cannot be the new normal.

Skip all news. Shun all TV. Dismiss every ad. Dump your credulity for all you hear. Women just read copy not understanding anything they read.  Fraudulent companies says stupid stuff like we are a "small business crisis resource." Other companies "push back against the disease." Have you heard anything with meaning? Of course not.  America has changed for the worse and long-term.    

Know nothings

Three examples 1. Our Ohio health expert who knows nothing but to talk about the "potentially recovered," and "flat peak." 2.  Our Governor (who advanced to full ass from 1/2 recently due to his oversized ego). 3.Fauci who I dismissed immediately upon hearing he is a marathon runner - used the word "normality" when we grammar experts know it should be normalcy. Sick or not, it's lifting to know that no one knows 'nothing'  except those who actually contracted the coronavirus - and survived.

Rationale for Happy

What is the rationale for a Happy Easter when life is not happy, not cured of low sugar, now cured of high sugar in my better half? The resurrection - that's the only rationale for happiness at Easter.

hypoglycemia

Too much aspirin - now has caused my hypoglycemia. Off to get glucose tablets because episodes have not been relieved with different high carb foods or pop. Too much aspirin during the coronavirus time of 3 weeks and 4 pills a day ( maybe 6 if desperate) has  put me down to death again. Life sucks. I'll never understand suffering. I know, I know, it's Easter. !!

But when I heard these words this morning, even the insanity of everything pandemic shrunk into a tiny ball. A company with a  disinfectant product was sponsoring a give-away on the radio via a radio show about car problems. . I was told that this company had "composure, style, class and all the info you need." What the H --- does that mean?

No aspirin

Yesterday the 1st time I didn't take aspirin in 17 days. Sometimes twice a day fever and headache from Covid-19. Discovered a couple days ago that I acquired (or aggravated) my borderline Hypoglycemia with the virus.  Adding more sugar to my days. Mutt and Jeff here. He with Type 2 and me with underserved,  So so sorry to hear that the husband and wife from the Hoarder House saga lost the wife's father to the coronavirus within 5 days. So so sad. One never knows. Weather here in central Ohio is terrible. Cold windy rainy. Easter the worst in memory. Will there be any Easter miracle this year?  Of course!  

Who is a jerk?

What makes someone a jerk? To claim to know all the answers while at the same time causing panic just for the sake of it. Listeners will feel afraid and bad; thinkers will be disgusted with a jerk  (1/2 ass ). I refuse to hear him (her), Close to home, unfortunately, the local (mostly liberal) radio broadcasts him - Glenn Beck, the jerk.  Not sick he has no clue about the rest of people who are sick (like me). Quoting data (mostly wrong) and giving advice without any data to prove it will work - the jerk rattles on and on and on. I turn him off each AM after the news which is also a vehicle for other nannies and panic-mongers. I've been sick for so long, I must laugh at the CDC and the government's ad in a newspaper this AM that brags #ALONETOGETHER. We are now all alone together! Oh God, is it any wonder He needs to arise again for another year?    

Not going well

I'm not doing well. 15 days in and still had to take aspirin for fever and headache by 3 pm. Lost all patience with daughter and husband. Managed to cry through most of video Mass.  Couldn't be bothered noticing the mild weather and deep green plush grass. Hell  is not populated by kind, unselfish, patient people. He called me rude. I can't apologize for being frustrated in Covid-19 Hell.  I need someone to pull me up and out!

Recurring

When will I get rid of this stupid virus which keeps coming back repeatedly with headache and  fever and other sundry symptoms. My days are shot. I often awake from a nap with the head hurting. Day 13 sucks. It's not like any illness I've had before and I've had a bunch of illnesses over the years. A bunch. A gorgeous sunset won't do it!  Daffodils 360 are fading. Warm weather coming is depressing. Easter is shot. After almost 4000 blogs, what have been read? Virtually none that I am aware, Instead of any other form of amusement - read a book or take a great course from the Teaching Company. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. And right now, our country is wasted.

Like malariai

I'm still ill into 12th day fever, terrible headache, chills, stomach queasy symptoms of malaria but really the coronavirus. It sucks. Life sucks. Family all well. When will it be over ?
