Game Stop

In a discussion on the game stop bubble, I heard about the "legacy establishment guys." As usual, today, I have no idea what words and phrases mean anymore. Language has become so opaque that a normal can't relate to it. Our culture has become alien. Our morality has become watered down. Our civility has died.
Good thing I just don't care anymore. The two of us lovers are all in and about our simple world.

Will I?

Will I ever feeel good or right again? Covid from March 2020 and lingering problems culminating with Panic attacks in January of  2021... Every day tired and napping. Luckily the napping though not refreshing passes time and feels relatively good... What's God's plan for me but to suffer? That's my conclusion.

Inflation

How about this for inflation? The yearly cost in 1958 for matriculation at Loyola University in Chicago (  then at the women's college of Mundelein) was $550. I was told today the price is $65,000. The 2nd question, of course, is how much better was education in the 60's as opposed to today? No brainer!

Real riots

Razor wire, fences, boarded up windows, thousands of National Guard troops and nothing happened (as expected) during the 2021 inauguration, but riots, real riots in Seattle, Portland, Philly and other cities by antifa and similar extremist thugs. What's new in the Biden administration? Nothing from the left-hand side of America today. What do we have to look forward to? Same ole, same ole hypocrisy and lies.

A bang and a whimper

In with a bang and out with a whimper sums up the Presidency of Donald Trump. So sad his betrayal by his beloved followers. What else is there to say?

I can say this about Mother Nature, however. She does not waste like her human occupants. I hate waste in any way, shape or form especially food. The wildness in our world make sure all waste is consumed and/or re-used.  Too bad people can't think/act the same way. What precious is never free.

Panic Attacks

Is there any way to describe the horror of panic attacks?  Out of the blue I'm hit again. Almost 2 years to the month. Dr. says some people have genes disposed to anxiety and therefore panic attacks.  Well, that's not nice to know, though I am a sensitive, nervous and anxious person. Getting old sucks. Paralyzed with a meltdown of the  body is impossible to understand. On to my med, Lexapro, hoping it will do the job again. Life since Christmas was already horrible and then these episodes of more horror. Someone with connections to the Divine, please intercede for me!!!!!!!!!!

18 million

Eighteen million Americans are on some sort of welfare government handout program. Can this be tolerated? Is this ethical? Is this possible? Well, one thing is for sure -  you should 1st ask yourself if this is right, meet, proper and just?

What I can't abide

What I can't abide is self-help mumbo-jumbo preached by enlightened women. Ric Edelman's wife is just such a wordy zealot. The word of the week ? or day ? who cares, is then explained letter by letter. In the course of today's goodies, she used the phrase "self-care tools." Enlightened me perks up immediately asking what the heck are "self care tools?  Nothing, of course, just word salad, Just meaningless, feel good, feminine mumbo-jumbo that ticks and turns me off.

Communism

Here's how it goes with Communism. A class struggle must be invented and if people will not go against their consciences, punishments ensue. So in China 1st the Movement of Triple Autonomy.  Then the 3 evils. Then the 5 evils. Then the 4 cleansings. Finally the Cultural Revolution.  Where do you think America is today on this chain of events? Here's a hint. What counts today in politics is that what counts is what serves the ends of the Party in power.

Tragic irony

No it is not better to have loved and  lost than never to have loved at all. A few Trump supporters that have loved loved him for years betrayed him by storming the Capitol which of course, has destroyed the one they loved. How sad. The tragic irony of this situation cannot be overestimated.

Scam

Children are hungry. Send $40 for the "covid relief package." This scam on the radio had not ended for years. Could the storming of the Bastille in DC be a scam from antifa? Could infiltration and/or provocation have triggered invasion of the Capitol?  Just asking?  All reactions are overblown, the mountain for impeachment looming over the anthill of actions (compared with Democrat sanctioned riots over months) in 2020.  Just saying...

DISTRACTIONS

Another day of nonsense. A balloon drop for a black man killed by police without any details available. "Iconic coverage" of their podcast awards from IHeart media, a true prostitute to cultural rot. Urban Meyers wanting 12 million a year to come out of retirement to coach again. A reminder from my current book that the imperialist accusation for the West and America from Lenin and Communists still is  warranted and used.  What's new?  Nothing today. No doubt, Georgia will put 2 Dems into the Senate.

A Black Lives Matter Plaza?

Is it true that in Washington, D.C., there is a Black Lives Matter Plaza near the White House?  If so, what an outrage! Where can we go next downhill when Amen is supplemented by Awomen by some Congressperson. Oh yes!  Each day the slide escalates - mudslinging helping. My better half teased me with the statement that a permanent mask mandate might follow Biden's inauguration. If so, I'm presented with a .crisis of conscience and will. How can I leave my beloved country since there's nowhere to go?

Three quarters

Do you have an answer to this question? Why would someone push two carts up to the assembly line of carts and then NOT appropriate the two FREE quarters waiting to be liberated from the boxes? "Silly fat man," I said as I retrieved 50 cents. One quarter at a time can build character over a lifetime. Right?

2021

I'm thinking about watching a Francis the Talking Mule film.  The need to regress to better times overwhelms me. Life's routines haven't changed for 2020 or 2021 or any year that I can recollect since retirement because we're so boring and conservative. Well-informed is depressing; home-bound is reality.
