What's the point?

What's the point of saying Happy Thanksgiving when every bit of news is bad? A murder of a baby, a conviction of murder, an accidental death, a deliberate death?  The word Eucharist and the word thanks are synonymous as of the Middle Ages Latin.  So today we are left with only one choice - gratitude for some thing or things, person or person, pet or God in our life.  

Good son

Can a non-Catholic qualify for sainthood? A good man or a good woman? Of course not, but JoniTada qualifies. My son qualifies. He came through again in our time of need when a pond leak fostered rapid drainage and we needed a big container to house the big goldfish (5 years old). Pond patch apparently didn't work. So Lazarus, risen from the death depths in 2020 Easter, still lives. How long? Any life is better than a death, right? No, the murderer of now 6 people at a Christmas parade does not deserve to live. Why not run him down with his red car - swift and sure justice!  

I can't believe it

I can't believe a jury in America under such pressure from the left media and the left in general came to a just decision in the Kyle Rittenhouse murder case.  A good thing makes today one good day out of so many bad ones to which we are subjected now living now in America.  Thank God? Thank the jury?  Who do I thank or do I just say unbelievable? If the tables of behaviour were turned and a leftie were substituted for Kyle and his actions - you fill in the  blank... 

Happy Birthday

Why has no one ever said, "have a sad birthday?  Because a BD is supposedly a happy event?  Kids remembering me is a good thing, right? Gratitude for the gifts that I have received - not physical, of course. Hating this lap top which will never let me type anything without a problem. Sure, another year falling apart but holding on to my one and only human love? The worst 2 weeks of my life racked up with eternal sadness, joy and regret? Inscrutable are the ways of the Lord. Amen.

Have no clue why blood pressure is low...quit Lexapro after 6 days. Can't function for a full day. Bela  report is pretty good; Stormy report is as usual angelic. Need to have him neutered next month at 6 months. After Fall back on clock, dark as night already at 5 pm. Depressing, but not a depressing as  each and every news item from the Biden administration run by an 'unknown darth vader?  Rain.

At least, Bela is eating in his new 'home.' I have no idea how a cat 'feels' who  has been thrown out of his home into a cage and then a  new home with a new caregiver. No idea. I do have an idea how I feel - terribly sad.  Why did 81/2 years come to this? Stormy, however, loves us.  

All Souls' Day

What has happened to the poor souls held hostage in Haiti? No they are not dead? Yes they have been rescued? Well, a climate conference over NOTHING take precedence.  Our mindless President and thousands of mindless, rich, indulgent, politicians and do-gooders congregate.  More young people and adults should just sit down with a book and read something - anything. 

Post Halloween

Nov.1st, All Saints Day and we sure need their intercession. Biden pricing, Biden rules, Biden lies, Biden's bidding the Devil, surely warrant intercession by holy forces. Can't read a single line of 'news' that isn't tainted. After 4 years of lies and shenanigans from the Democrat party against Trump in an effort to impeach him, who can doubt that the election of a demented party hack wasn't stolen?  In small ways, in multitudinous ways, in every way possible. Amen. Ye good ones up there, help us down  here!
