We're lost

Once you ignore the basic truth of a syllogism or operate without seeking it, you're lost. So if we never should have closed down the U.S. or the world from Covid-19, we should not be surprised when cases expand after spotty re-openings. The world IS flat when it comes to global communication. Luckily this pandemic does not kill like the Black Death - but you wouldn't know it from the panic-mongering on parade. Rules abound which are silly and ineffective. A local amusement park will 'partially' re-open with customers required to wear masks but stations will be set up for patrons to 'rest' from wearing the masks. Can you believe this latest nonsense?

To tears

I was brought to tears and a total breakdown watching idiots trying to topple the Equestrian statue of Stonewall Jackson in LaFayette Park, Washington D.C, How could any human beings be so inhuman? Think of how much effort went into creating the masterpiece. Think of both man and his mount in  American history. The evil vandals obviously know neither art nor appreciation of memorials. Curse them to jail. Anyway, after the weeping subsided, I heard that airlines will serve no booze on flights, just offering flyers "snacks and hand-sanitizers." Can this also be real? Really?   

Schmucks

If you allow the schmucks to bring our country to crisis - you'll get what you deserve. Heard this today and am made aware of it each time I'm subjected to the news. No news, of course. Nanny says it's raining so keep an assured safe distance. No nanny tells the killers to stop killing. A homicide a night in Columbus is not news anymore. Peaceful protesters turn violent necessitating the use of pepper spray the mayor says won't be used on peaceful demonstrators. Each great civilization peaks and falls. We are on the precipice.

An uplifting anecdote

Dummy, the employer is boss in a free market system and the employees are paid to do their work. #2. "Diversify your top executives and corporate boards." Dummy, have you noticed many Black CEO's and execs already exist? #3. "Allow workers to save for retirement and help them do it."  Dummy, whose job is it to provide for the future. The individual exercising personal responsibility, of course.  Blame, compulsion  and government intervention are the hallmarks of Democrats today.

Scandal

10 million dollars for social jus-fortice initiatives as part of a sports' league settlement?  A scandal? What's a scandal? 1, When a person does something against the law of God and another person seeing him do it follows the bad example. 2.When a 'little one' misunderstands a person's action which does not break the law of God but goes out and actually does commit a sin.  3. When a person does an important good deed that the 'Pharisee' wants to stop because he does not agree with it and then for  some pretext obstructs the good deed.  All 3 types of scandal apply to the protests against racism. Think about the actions of Americans now. Straight-forward or back-handed, anyone supporting these protests which usually turn violent. criminal and immoral - scandalize themselves and commit a sin. Venial at that, but a sin, unless murder results???

I heard again that more work is to be done - blah, blah, blah about racism and policing and trans-genders and hunger and poverty and keeping safe and blah, blah, blah. What is being done? Columbus state college taking down the statue of Columbus. The government sending $300 to each student in Columbus that didn't get reduced or free lunches during this Covid -19 shutdown. President Trump issuing an executive order to do NOTHING to fix the "police problem." What's the problem? No major premise (of a truth) underpinning the syllogism for what's wrong with America today. What is the syllogism?  That's the BIG question. 

Who is at fault?

Whose fault is it that black citizens do not respect the police?  Whose fault is it that police are paranoid and frightened at every encounter with both black (especially)  and white citizens?  Whose fault is it that blacks commit more crimes and violent crimes than whites? Whose fault is it for not supporting and encouraging traditional black marriages that promote moral behavior?  Whose fault is it for not condemning a lawless mentality for blacks and the triumph of feelings over facts or common sense?  You guessed it!  Barack Obama, President Barack Obama, The Big O, Zero - for improving race relations in the United States all through his 8 years in office. Shameful. But then what do you expect from a leftist, liberal Democrat? Nothing.  Zero. And here we are TODAY.   

Whiff of the grape

I never thought I'd say a good thing about Napoleon, but his advice to "give them a whiff of the grape" when confronted with the enemy - surely appeals to me after witnessing and hearing about so much mayhem, looting, destruction and death post the murder of George Floyd which has obviously been hijacked by a left-wing mob mentality and an evil agenda to totally revolutionize America.  As Mark Steyn so cleverly said today, the "hamster wheel of wokeness" keeps turning faster and faster to advance the cause of resistance and change.  We are so woke now, that "Gone with the Wind," Faulty Towers," and "Dukes of Hazzard" are targeted for destruction. Historic monuments too. One whiff of grapeshot could have deterred this nonsense at the outset.  The center won't hold anywhere. Insanity and the triumph of ineffective reforms have won the emotional war.  Woe to us!

Today's two lies 1. Jerry Nadler that "countless Blacks suffer the same fate" (as George Floyd). Must be a liberal Democrat with an agenda to lie like this. 2. Health experts now say there is "low certainty evidence" that distancing and face masks are helpful against Covid-19.  Must be experts who can perpetrate panic. 

What racism?

Where's the racism when the police officer is charged with "depraved heart" ala "depraved conscience." in the death of George Floyd. Where's the racism?  In the agenda of the Democrat party, that's where racism begins and will end in ignominy.  All the symbolism, bathos and pageantry encased in fraud continues to destroy truth in America. No surprise here. Racism has had nothing to do with the murder of George Floyd but leftism cannot let a crisis go to waste. All is contradiction and hypocrisy. One day cultural appropriation is bad; next day taking a knee with African scarves is good.  Have you noticed that all Democrats in Washington, now hobble around ( most are old) on 4 good legs now that 2 legs are bad?   

How can this happen?

Americans have been sheep following misleading CDC guidelines and a fraudulent leftist, Democrat political agenda for months now immersed in the Coronavirus pandemic. We  have crashed our economy and free will. So now with the death of George Floyd, the sheep have transmorgified into wolves - rioting, looting, killing and howling about racism in America today.  Today? Have you looked around you lately? Today? Conditions for blacks had been (before this monstrous transformation) at their zenith in America. Not at the nadir. Up now down. Top now bottom.

Who is safe?

I live in a divided country - two nations. One wants to keep the protesters safe. The other wants to keep the police and innocent citizens safe. None are safe now. Too bad, because the left 'sees' through one pair of glasses and the right sees through a totally different pair of specs. Each is blind to the other. I cannot have  common ground with an alternative world view to mine. Words like compromise, solidarity and togetherness are meaningless. Let's face reality. Theirs and mine. Totally different. What is to be done? Two sets of consciences will continue to guide two paths in life.

Years and years of prejudice under Democrat administrations that have not been addressed? A black who uses fentanyl, drugs and smokes? Guess who can spout this unrealistic liberal nonsense having risen to a position of power?  I am sickened when I read such  meaningless drivel from the CEO of Merck, Kenneth Frazier. He works and lives apart from an ordinary Black male, but still stoops so low as to spout the party line of racism. If Democrat, his party has fixed nothing anyway for 50 years. Kenneth, could not be George Floyd; George Floyd could not be you.

What would I do without radio nonsense to lighten the load of insanity around me daily? "We created a 5step program which takes you through 5 steps," according to a financial planning company. I do not need to repeat the obvious that riots and protest have obviated the need to protect oneself from Covid-19.  WHATEVER WILL BE WILL BE.  Our quirkiest evidence of a weird spring is our record-breaking 17 swarms from only 8 bee hives. Each sunny day after a rain  - they take off. Beautiful, classic formations. Large and small. Isn't nature amazing? Persistent. Predictable. Inspired. Don't look to human nature now for any evidence of  truth or beauty.

Today we need a joke so here goes. Continually advertised on the radio is focused linear compression therapy (FCLT) for ED. What could that possibly be? Think. I know - fellatio (a blow job). Passing this daily nonsense, let's address the news that our Mayor has designated racism as a "public health crisis"  Really. And not to be outdone for nonsense, another ad on the radio says your AC becomes less effective each year you use it. I have a window unit AC that is 17 years old and going as strong each night as the 1st night I used it - with no help from a service technician. The new meme is police brutality no matter what. Words fail me to express my displeasure over how much power the police have assumed (in both fire power and policing prpcedures) over the past few years. Could it be that our society has so debased itself with criminality that such actions have been necessary? Shame on America. 

Brilliance

By now, I bet you expect brilliance from me expressing an opinion on the madness in America. Since the major premise is that we have become lost to the good values in life, panic, irrationality, chaos and separation have taken over. A talk show host Glenn Back acting as nostradumbous thinks he has the solution to our problems.  Au contraire. He just adds to the problem of do-gooders and know-it-alls chiming in on our present condition. Man is basically NOT good  and not educated to reach a higher level of common sense, enlightenment and graditude. Where are we now in America? Duh!  I just finished reading "We were soldiers once... and young" about Viet Nam in 1965. Give me a break! We were stupid than and we are stupid now. My answer? Cry beloved country.
