America's Lubianka

Reading about details of the ways and means of prisoners' lives in Russia's infamous Lubianka prison, it came to me that life there resembles living under the rule of the Democrat party. Conditions are clean and sterile but behind this front are interminable, inevitible interrogations until the prisoner signs a confession and submits a pre-ordained philosophy and agenda. No matter how long it takes. Wokeness, critical race theory, leftism, white guilt and political correctness are Fascist principles  to which we subversive Americans must submit. Or else. No matter how long it takes for the Democratic party to destroy each one of us and America in the process.  

Not bi-partisan

Can you be bi-partisan if  you are dealing with the Devil?  Of course not. No Republican or conservative should even come to the table with a leftist or Democrat. They do not 'negotiate' in earnest. They do not intend to give up their principles or political agenda. They believe bi-partisan means doing it  their way. Conceding. So. you worthless, political idiots, do not think there is an art to a deal with the Devil. He always wins at, of course, the price of another lost soul. 

Render to Caesar

It's been over 1 and 1/2 years now that our Catholic church has not rendered to the government  that which  belongs to it and to God that which He deserves. Rather sheep have folded to scientific inaccuracies and fraud instead of hearing the words of Jesus, "Be Not Afraid." Covid has made cowards of them all. Now, at last,  perhaps Bishops will render a document clarifying the scandals of so-called practicing Catholics encouraging murder of the unborn and related practices contrary to Church dogma.  Will our church give us a break from cowardice and lukewarm behavior in the face of sin and scandals. When did this begin? 60's. 70's.  Feminism, modernism for starters. What will I hear an d see?     

Exhausted

 I'm tired of being hot and tired, worn out from a daily chore or a chore chosen but needed living with nature in the country. Pulse never lower than 80. Husband's rarely  higher than 60. what a pair. Total opposites. Name anything other than we do not choose to travel and we exist as antipodes (in love).  

Honey

What have we been doing? Extracting  honey from his hives. Using new electric spinner. Enduring heat and humidity. setbacks, exhaustion. Result:  36 pints of honey, the last of which was crystal nectar. So to render and opinion? What can  I do to rid myself of hip pain when standing (and walking)? Ongoing. Waiting for another cortisone shot. Still too soon. But I and he - we- with only bachelor's degrees, keep walking slowly down the path of livelong learning aware of the incomprehensibility of God).     

One hoya bloom

One hoya bloom is sufficient to make me feel special. The sweet perfume oozes only at night. The hanging plant from a friend's son after she died proved her friendship  to me. Four years now and I have  not managed to kill it, which is amazing. Any successful flower or plant is rare in my life. No top soil, no luck, no enhanced benefits from our acreage. My neighbor, however, adds mulch and topsoil galore to her floral displays. We're so cheap. Nature is on her own in my world.
