Agency

Do you have agency? Do I have agency? Not unless your or I am a leftist liberal b.... Agency does mean the capacity for independent action and the means of exerting influence, but to exert it as a woman hell bent on accusations of sexual harassment, just plops her into the pushy, offended feminist category.  Nothing pleased me in the past like a compliment on my appearance or intellectual acumen - with no offense taken.  But poor, old, playful, hetero, white male Joe Biden,  whom we all know as a blithering, partyline fool, has been swept (apparently) under the bus for political incorrectness. Words like 'agency' only matter as dog whistles on the left. I'm sickofit.

I would like to note nice gesture that I received in bed last night when my cat arrived with a dead mouse to present to me as a gift (well caught). Thanks, Bela.    

Quiz

OK, What is the "Licking County Justice Center?" Hint: a cook had sex with a couple of inmates over time there.  Why have we perverted perfectly correct words ala "1984's" Ministry of Truth? Political correctness runs wild or at least is running for cover.  A "justice center" once was a correctional facility. Previous to that, a jail. Now we have a "justice center" performing identical functions over the years that mete out little justice and less rehabilitation training.  Solitary confinement keeps gang members away from each other for safety purposes. God is kept at bay. It's scary and sad what needs to be done to keep law-abiding citizens safe. I met an educated mental health counselor recently who uses various techniques to help clients including much reliance on "mindfulness."  Apparently God (who is absent) will only continue to be mindful of Himself.  

OUTRAGE

AS USUAL, MY ADDICTION TO OUTRAGE RAISED ITS UGLY HEAD AGAIN WHEN I HEARD THAT MOZART'S REQUIEM (TO BE PERFORMED LOCALLY) WAS "HAUNTING AND ENIGMATIC." WHAT?  WORDS DESIGNED TO CATCH THE ATTENTION OF A LISTENER TO THE AD, I'M SURE, BUT WHAT IS A PERSON TO THINK OR FEEL WHEN TOLD THAT A MUSICAL COMPOSITION ABOUT DEATH BY A CHRISTIAN IS "HAUNTING AND ENIGMATIC."  WAS MOZART'S COMPOSITION MEANT TO EVOKE SUCH EMOTIONS?  I DOUBT IT.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I GIVE KUDOS TO RAHM EMMANUEL FOR CALLING THE JUSSIE SMOLLETT TRAVESTY A "WHITEWASH OF JUSTICE."  ONE CAN USUALLY FIND SOME COMMON GROUND WITH THE ENEMY.         

Three takedowns

First I hear an 'expert' use the word "handidly" instead of 'handily' in a conversation. Then I hear a stupid ad promoting Obamacare  from the "Partnership to Stop  Chronic Disease" (where's the connection)?  Lastly, Patriot Software 's "serial entrepreneur" tells me the company's specialty is a "cash accrual toggle switch."  What comes over the airways is abominable. No less pathetic is the acquittal of Jussie Smollet. "Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice".... No way!

Cured my aching back muscle with a $1.00 heat patch (of methyl salicylate) from Dollar Tree. Whee!

False ads again

Heard a new ad for Pure Talk, a business to provide wireless content at a dramatic discount. The man said that most people pay $250 a month for their service; his company only charges $2.50 a month.  Then he raves that this is "less than 1/2 price." Duh, 1/2 of $250 is $125, dummy. Anyway, after hearing this ad twice I concluded - you guessed it - advertising is a fraud. Don't listen. Don't listen to ANYTHING on the radio. Another bit of news today told me that the rise in gas prices is a "lot of seasonality." Good thing to know, right?

Quit the Lipitor.  My Dr. walked out of our appointment because I was exceeding my allotted time.   

Language lost

Radio hosts and commentators slaughter language each and every day.  "Those are the concerning ones," is one Ex. I heard this morning.  Another, "Unprepared in the moment."  Nonsense stuff. Also,  leftist Democrat candidates for President not only slaughter language at each and every rally, but just spew it forth without any idea of its meaning. The only criteria, of course, is 'party line.'  Lenin himself wrote and spoke just a few anti-capitalist and anti Western phrases over and over again which were internalized by his comrades. Ditto for what goes on today. Who lap it up? Who buys it? Too many, I'm afraid.

Dachau

I know what it must have been like to die from dysentery, cholera or typhoid ( uncontrolled diarrhea) after I was prescribed 8 times the normal dose of Lipitor.  Have any of you been to that Hellish place too?  Cut the dose by 1/3. At the same time contending with uncontrolled attacks from Lexapro.  Unlike Rush Limbaugh,  I choose to complain that starvation ( no food) and dehydration ( loss of liquids) are worth the complaining and warranted a call to Dr. Death.  Is there any connection to the murders in New Zealand and terrorist attack in the Netherlands?  Heck yes, because both are depressing as He... I thought last night of my evening childhood haunts with friends in the 40's. They echoed similar outdoor over-nighters recounted by Thomas Sowell in his childhood reminiscences.  No fear of crime walking alone after work.  No thought of being 'attacked' by evil doers in our large, urban neighborhood.  Depressing as He... where we have descended as an indecent country.  Have any of you noted our Hellish perspective too?   

LANGUAGE LOST

Language has lost most meaning. In a Reagan bio the author writes that someone suggested to Reagan he run for mayor of Hollywood. The author then pens, "That left a cheesy tinsel aftertaste." Supposedly in Reagan's mouth?  I dare you to dissect the meaning  if these his words. 

Then an ad for NationwideChildrens.org/Partners (?) reads that "The need is clear.  Children are facing unprecendented health disparities.  Behavioral health issues are on the rise.  Pediatric research is significantly underfunded.  Our work is more needed than ever.  Our work ... celebrates ... Partners who are helping us take on some the the biggest challenges in pediatics with aspirational results." I  dare you to find any truth in these words.  Our English language, used and abused, seems lost. 

Muslim Caliphate

The inception of  the Muslim Caliphate is now here in our Congress. Two Muslim declare it!  Oh no!

The ultimate hypocrisy of Democrat leftists is on display when candidates for President are older than Reagan when he ran but who then was declared to be too OLD to run for President. Ho, Ho!

Another day of depressing news, lying ads and 'unbelievable' deals like the $8.00 buffet (including drink) at Ponderosa from 1 to 4 p.m. for a 'limited time.'  Ho Ho! 

   

Another House Bill

Politicians are useless.  Another House bill wants new teenage drivers to be trained for 1 yr. NOT 6 months before driving.  Also, they cannot be out past 10 PM. Also they can't drive other than to work, school and related activities (what's left you ask?)  No real consequences will prevail. Just more do good waste of money.  On the bright side - OSU is 4th as a leading veterinary school.  At least the animals will be well taken care of by graduates. 200 Masters' and 200 Doctors' programs at OSU does seem a bit extreme.

Side effects of medications have crippled me. Anxiety, Blood Pressure and Cholesterol.  Any sympathetic thoughts? 

Iconic

Why did I hear that our new Governor DeWine's speech was iconic?  Why did I hear that 50 women protested outside our statehouse with a slogan, "She decides"?  Why did I not hear about hundreds of thousands of gathers last month supporting pro-life and protesting Roe vs. Wade?  Why,why,why. Not 3 answers but only one.  What I hear is usually filtered by a deliberate perversion of meaning.  Welcome to a lesser version of America via the media. 

Anyone have suggestions to help a poor soul cursed by panic attacks?   

Testosterone

You can't slow down the effects of testosterone.  In Bozman and Jackson Hole, Wyoming skiers pulled behind racing horses attempt to conquer a difficult, high-speed swirling course.  Bailing is key at critical moments. Looks like a thrilling challenge to unchallenged manly testosterone. Certainly Bernie Sanders hasn't, couldn't, wouldn't find any use for this hormone. Beginning his run for the President, rallied by blind- to-reality supporters, he said his campaign and time in office (?) would NOT be filled with "greed, hatred and lies."  Truly?  No, false.  With no manly character, hormones or facts, poor, child-of-the devil- Bernie lives in a world obverse to reality.  The ideological perspective of his hate-filled progressive Democrat party spews a word salad of misogyny, racism, sexism, homophobia and bombast against his enemy with no foundation in fact.

  Should we put Bernie on the fast horse or fast skies and send him to his destruction?  Yeah!

Dizzy

Constant dizziness, unsteady feeling... Trip to ER not illuminating. Panic attack didn't help. 'Sickofit.'  Tempted each day to terminate radio because of stupid advertising. Get an  Alfa Romeo at ... dealership with MONUMENTAL savings.  $1500 on a car.  ?  Whether used or new, $1500 is NOT monumental.  A thermostat at home  74 degrees is "freezing cold," in another silly   statement. Ad brains ought to be banned from the area of falsehood into the realm of common sense and (at least) a modicum of truth. Why should we expect these pitches to change?  Many  spokespersons and salespersons malign their competition and mislead customers like prostitutes to the altar of money.
