WHAT I CAN'T TOLERATE

WHAT I CAN'T TOLERATE IS AN EMOTING MOTOR MOUTH. IT IS USUALLY FEMININE.  I TIRE EASILY WHENEVER ANY PERSON TALKS TOO MUCH MONOPOLIZING A SUPPOSED CONVERSATION WHICH THEN DEVOLVES INTO A ONE-SIDED SPEECH. LISTENING TO ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL IS IMPORTANT. RIGHT? MAKING THE OTHER FEEL IMPORTANT IS  KEY. RIGHT?   

Storm damage

July 29th 2021 @ 5:30 pm big wind, big wind, big wind, torrential swirling rain some hail then await damage. Rain blown through a/c in kitchen window and dripping from ceiling too. But what had the wind wrought?  Uprooted one apple and neighbor's evergreen. Shredded our maple tree branch now hanging down. Shredded  neighbor's catalpa tree branch now hanging to the ground. We picked up branched all day sweating all the while, ditto for other neighbor. Third woman hearing a different, distant drummer proceeded to mow grass as usual for a perfectionist. New kitten unaffected by power outage of 6 hours necessitating our usual game time lit by a portable battery- operated lantern. Bourbon welcomed.  

Stormy

Innocent Stormy is now 2 lbs. What possessed me to make a spur of the moment decision to snap him homeless and sick off the street, I still  wonder. Maybe a pet quality blue point Siamese so far. Belongs to our house because he likes to eat, eats like a machine. Fits right in Off his meds now feeling  like velvet. Playful as a simple hellion. Our large goldfish Lazarus also has learned to respond to the call for food 3 times a day. Again, fits right in. Eating exclusively at home. Olympics begin and end for me with last event - Equestrian Grand Prix individual gold medal competition. I'm in for just the final round. 

Innocent Baby

I realized profoundly after rescuing a tiny, distressed kitten from a street (literally) that sweet innocence spoke to me. His life hung on the mercy of humans yet the little thing was driven to live. After veterinary treatment, he came to my home needing care to recover from multiple health problems. But he just proceeded to eat, play and love.  I realized too his fragility which equaled that of a newborn baby. How could a being so scrawny, small and unaware of the severity of his complaints, purr, purr, purr? Be so attentive, so willing to learn, so playful, so into  each second of life?  The survival instinct prevails. He needs me; a human baby needs constant care too. How can the miracle of such fragility escape so many people?  Why are not humans bowed with awe?   

Percentage too high

Having read a diatribe and apology from a rep of the ABA, American Booksellers Association, I conclude we are lost to a much too high percentage of WOKE STUPID people with POWER. I read hate -filled accusations against writers daring to question the appropriateness and morality of approving the fluidity of sex. Disagreeing with anything left of reason, science  or common sense, sets off a woke stupid person with power. Truth to power no longer has meaning. From a much too high percentage of Americans (and elitists world-wide)  we face existential doom. It's so depressing. 

Frugality

Know how to identify a TRUE conservative?  I'm here to tell you he or she lives like he or she is in Dachau. Be careful not to waste anything. Conserve resources by not wasting them such as appraising each scrap of food as to not throw any away, appraising each dollar (or $.25 ) spent or saved and appraising each consumer purchase for its value and necessity. Cheap sounds like it but cheap isn't equal to frugal; frugal isn't tantamount to conservative in its essence. What a waste of time and money to frequent restaurants. First rule of thumb. Second rule never pass up anything free (excluding the government, of course, because from it, nothing is ever free. Some one always eventually pays. No life doesn't suck; in Dachau you're always free. My comparison is limited to conservative values only. 

Lukewarm

Why have I always been repulsed or upset with lukewarm - answers, living, talking or thinking? Being wish-washy or 'modern' or non-judgmental evidences lack of conviction. A belief, of course, is arrived at  after proper rational, ethical and common sense investigation. So I say: "Shoot the equivocators."  We are now is an American failed experimentation with the middle-ground. Republicans are guilty, Democrats not. Which is why they will continue to control sheeple.    

The Prince and Princess

 Remember Machiavelli's prince? That politician, leader and administrator without a moral compass who could rule through both fear and respect? Who today in the Biden administration demonstrate the ideal qualifications for Prince and Princess? Yep! Chuckie Schumer and Nancy Pelosi - Prince and Princess. Who has noticed the similarities to the 'hero' of Machiavelli? Do and say anything to advance the cause of control and power over the people. The proper amount of fear vs. the proper amount of need for their benefactions guarantees permanence of position not to mention wealth. Hypocrites both; religious neither inspite of claims to the contrary. A shame to our Republic for sure. 

The 4th

I presume I must say something about the 4th of July. Last night the 3rd I heard fireworks exploding 360 degrees around our house but I could not see them clearly because of the trees. At least they were going off in  various places and at least there was apparently  enough money to pay for them. At least too, no one was stopped from having fun around here in flyover land. The recent big drug bust, however, proved that we are do not escape the low life element in our society. About 40 arrests prove that moral living eludes too many people, especially under 50.  They look pathetic, have acted pathetic and will probably remain pathetic specimens of humanity. No they don't, won't shape up and reform. Sad but true.
