Rough sess ahead

About a great adventurer and conqueror is said: "He only can permanently increase the wealth of mankind who increases man’s knowledge of himself and intensifies his creative impulses." President Obama is making sure this doesn’t happen by punishing achievement and encouraging ignorance now that he’s in power. From the same author at the conclusion of his book, I quote: " This deed of Magellan has shown for all time that an idea, winged by genius and sturdily energized by passion, proves stronger than the elements of nature, and that a thing which a hundred generations have regarded as no more than a wish-dream can by one man in his short lifetime be translated into the realm of reality and become an imperishable truth."

Magellan’s genius (diligence) allowed him to dream of circumnavigating the globe. Will Obama’s diligence re-fashion the map of these United States into a collectivist society? Within the short space of his first 100 days, Obama’s progressive ship of State has already made dramatic progress across our Republican sea. We’re in for some mighty Sturm und Drang.
