MOST TROUBLESOME
AT THE TURN OF THE LAST CENTURY, TWO MEN MADE TWO WISE OBSERVATIONS. "TO MOST PEOPLE NOTHING IS MORE TROUBLESOME THAN THE EFFORT OF THINKING," SAID JAMES BRYCE. "BLIND RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY IS THE GREATEST ENEMY OF TRUTH," SAID ALBERT EINSTEIN. THE GREATER THINKER ALSO SAID, "LONG LIVE IMPUDENCE! IT IS MY GUARDIAN ANGEL IN THIS WORLD." WERE IT NOT FOR EINSTEIN'S CONSTANT QUESTIONING OF ACCEPTED TRUTHS, FOR HIS THINKING 'OUTSIDE THE BOX', WHERE WOULD MATH, SCIENCE, PHYSICS AND PHILOSOPHY BE TODAY? IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE METTLESOME WEIGHTLIFTING OF GREAT MINDS HOW FAR WOULD CIVILIZATION HAVE ADVANCED? IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE GRANT DESIGNER - ACKNOWLEDGED BY EINSTEIN - WE WOULD NOT BE RATIONAL AND HOMO SAPIENS COULD NOT PARTAKE OF DIVINE WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE OR ENJOY THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE TO THINK.
