consequences of Common Core

Think about the consequences of Common Core as you read the opinion of Lewis Mumford in 1944.

“The standard examination papers that have appeared in so many departments of American education under the guise of progressive method would, in a short generation  paralyze the acquisition and extension of fresh knowledge: this symbolizes a much wider menace to life and thought.”
