More newspeak Silicon Valley techie CEO’s are now labeled “digerati.” A heating/cooling unit has “housing hybrid flexin burners.” The Hillshire Farms CEO says meat is the “hero ingredient in food products.” Language is America’s latest POW - lots of fury meaning nothing. A genius spokesman for our English language, Winston Churchill, still can address our modern problem when he said: “We live in an age of great events and little men; and if we are not to become the slaves of our own system...it will only be by bold originality, by repeated experiment...and by the dispassionate consideration of the results of sustained and unflinching thought.” Of course, the key word in Churchill’s sentence is THOUGHT.
