A mere day after Independence celebrations, I see and hear that America is back to business as usual. The jury finds Casey Anthony not guilty of killing her 2 yr. old child. I learn that 454 staffers in the White House make an average salary of $80,000. And on my $.59 bottle of sparkling water, the company is "committed to providing healthy beverages and promoting awareness of environmental efforts." Whew! I'm relieved that our court system still works, that people earn an honest wage and that my 0 calorie water's blue water drop symbol confirms a triple threat: "healthy alternative, earth efforts and essential for life." Can life and lingo be more meaningless? Really?
