PC/BS

The recent Japanese earthquake's ferocious release of energy was 600 million times that of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Who knew? If this fact were known, people would realize the miracle of minimum damage caused by the event. But extacting reality from media and agenda-driven hype is tough. Reality, however, is the latest blackmail of McDonalds by our politically-correct, liberal government.

PCBS sums up the "getting healthy aim of new choices," McDonald's says it is giving its loyal customers. "For 57 years, our customers have given us their trust. We've tried to repay it by giving them what they want whenever they come in, so that the things they look forward to are things they can feel good about."

Less fat, less salt, fewer calories, apple slices, veges, low fat milk and smaller portions - are these what loyal customers have 'wanted' or trusted McDonald's to give them? No. But what they will want now is what the government makes McDonald's give them; they will have no choices. They may choose only the choices they are given. 1984. Animal Farm revisited. Big Brother and Big nanny rule. Oh God where art thou?
