Word on fire

Is not my word like as a fire?" the  Lord asks.

660 rolls of natural turf on 30 trucks went to Miami to coat the level playing field for the Super Bowl.  Since one cannot serve both God and Mammon, American sports' fans obviously choose to serve themselves one super duper escapist event. Which I, of course, decry. 

"Basic stories explained not shouted" is the mantra of IHeart radio. Give me a break! IHeart basically owns the local radio station which cannot put forth a moment of worthwhile noise.
Words are on fire with lies, one of my pet peeves. Which liar will win in Iowa tomorrow?
