Who knew that our Founding Fathers knew it all about politics? James Madison’s tutor from Scotland
wisely said a sign was a “thing that gives notice something different from
itself.” BUT he said that: “Politicians
and other cunning men of business, (who)
by great and refined dissimulation, have
in great measure confound and stifled the natural indications of their
inmost thoughts.”
