the words contain no meaning

Meaning absents itself from advertising for products. Do you know how to “raise your expectations about what a Kubota ( lawn mower) can do for you?  No, the words contain no meaning.  Meaning presents itself, however, in great narrative writing such as Rick Atkinson’s depiction of the troops, planes, and landing craft released on D-day, June 6th, 1944 as an “effluent of liberation.” Which do you prefer?  Emptiness or fullness of expression? No brainer, I say.
