The impossible dream The Soviet State held contempt for the individual. Its revolutionary intelligentsia denied man’s significance and fostered total subordination of spiritual values to social goals. Its formalism and bureaucracy and its faith in the omnipotence of rules were the markings of a police state which practiced a revolutionary fanaticism. Here in the US, a 100 years later, the Obama administration ( liberal Democrat, socialist, Communist, progressive, you pick the term) is still trying to totally revolutionize America through political correctness and its agenda to create heaven on earth. The impossible ( Fascist?) dream is our present nightmare. .
