Heads Up “To quote a local mayor ( known for his disregard for logic in language) I offer a “potential for an opportunity” to learn from 2 historical observations. 1. In 1918 a military person commenting on the U.S. entry into WWI, said that in 150 years, American regulars have never been beaten. Add 150 years to 1918 and you have 2068. In 2068 what military person will be able to say America has never been beaten? We have already answered the question in the negative. 2. Since it is the time of Catholic Lent when gospels of Jesus become relevant, I mention that a local Christian analyzing the life of Christ, observed that the 4 Evangelists recorded the life of Jesus as a King, a man, a servant and the Son of God. If you think about it, no one else in the history of the world but Jesus said that he WAS GOD. Prophets and priests claim to record the word of God, to proclaim the word of God but not to be the one and only God, son of God and Spirit of God all in one! Eyes upward on the pilgrimage to Easter.
