WITHOUT THE INTERNET

MY ONGOING DISASTER HAS BEEN THE 'TRAGEDY OF BOTTOMLESS CONSCIOUSNESS.' I THINK TOO MUCH. WHEN I HEAR THAT ONE THIRD OF AMERICANS DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET AND DON'T WANT IT, I AM OVERWHELMED WITH HOPE AND CONFIDENCE IN THE FUTURE OF AMERICA. WITHOUT ACCESS TO THE 24/7 BLATHER VIA THE COMPUTER'S INTERNET ACCESS, MANY AMERICANS WILL NOT BE SUBJECTED TO COMMENTS ABOUT ELIZABETH'S EDWARD'S COURAGE TO CONTINUE WITH HER HUSBAND'S CAMPAIGN FOR THE WHITE HOUSE IN '08 IN SPITE OF THE RETURN OF HER BREAST CANCER. MISPLACED ALLEGIANCES AND DISCONNECTS FROM RELIGION DO NOT NEED MORE EXPOSURE. ALSO, MANY CITIZENS WILL NOT BE SUBJECTED TO THE SLEAZY VOYEURISM OF ANNA NICOLE SMITH'S DEATH AND THE PATERNITY OF HER 6 MO. OLD DAUGHTER. MISPLACED CONCERNS FOR TRIVIAL TRAVAILS THAT MAKE A TRAVESTY OF THE 'NEWS' DO NOT NEED MORE COVERAGE.

MANY AMERICANS -LIKE ME - WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO WASTE TIME ON THE MEDIA’S MESSAGES, HOPEFULLY, WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS LEISURE TO READ A BOOK, THINK CRITICALLY ABOUT POLITICAL STATEMENTS, WORK A PUZZLE OR ENJOY FAMILY, FAITH OR SPRING. COME TO THINK OF IT - I SHOULD REMOVE MY ROSE-COLORED GLASSES.
