First Snow

            First Snow

Frozen out -

My 4 or more furred foodies 

And feathered friends - 

Of welfare seed, suet, samples of 

Meat, kibbles, processed feasts.

Their needs a snowy oversight

Negated overnight. 

One time and more plights 

Of hunger beckon them. 

Ice and snow, a show of 

Truth and Beauty.

But it is winter now.
