No higher education

College is no longer the place for 'higher' education. A local program instigated  by Pres. Obama, provides for a  bachelor's degree -now - for disabled and mentally handicapped persons. YES, it's true, education no longer asks one to have a 'normal' IQ or study hard, or seek a high education. I quote: "It ( the program) is basically helping them (the mentally challenged) to elevate to gain an opportunity and to pursue to what level they can given their disability."  Ignore the pathetic sentence structure here and weep anyway. Oh how I wasted my academic youth.
