Margaret Mead said: “…we free women to be people

In the early 1960’s Margaret Mead said: “…we free women to be people, and whether we free them to copulate oftener or with more partners is less relevant…we are making an evolutionary change.”

Eric Sevareid wrote in the 60’s: “…the popular passion of Americans is not politics, baseball, money or material things, … it is education. Education is our biggest industry.”

Eric Seveareid also said: “ …the communications revolution brings out every social evil, every human tragedy, and conflict immediately and intimately within everyone’s ken.”

So how much has history gotten right? Or how much has gone terribly wrong?
