Real Strategy
Real
Strategy
On D-Day, June 6th, 1944 , 10,000 air planes and
5000 ships were in readiness. Also, 800 typewritten pages were required for a
terse summary of the overall naval plan alone.
A complete set of actual naval orders, with necessary maps, weighed 300
pounds. Equally bulky were the plans for
ground, air and logistic operations.
Two examples in the strategy to conquer
the Nazi enemy and Hitler: twenty
underwater pipelines to pump 1million gallons of gasoline a day from England to
France and the building of a complete railway system to be transported across
the Channel and set up in a remarkably short time in replacement of
air-shattered systems of northern France.
B Eat your heart out, Obama.
