MEMORIAL DAY

“I have lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth – that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid?”  This ? was asked by Benjamin Franklin of the delegates arguing amongst themselves at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, 1787.
I say, enough of talk this Memorial Day about living veterans, that is what Veterans Day is for, when instead we should be remembering the Soldiers, Sailors and Marines who died fighting for our freedoms.  Enough of talk when prayer alone can solve this country’s present problems
