FBI Hiding Docs In IRS Tea Party Investigation, Pols Say

Law360, New York (December 04, 2013, 1:19 PM ET) -- The chairman of the House oversight committee is mounting pressure on the FBI to turn over documents related to the Internal Revenue Service's heightened scrutiny of conservative groups, telling the bureau Monday that it might forcibly take the documents if it doesn't cooperate.

The FBI currently is investigating the IRS scandal and, in September, committee Chairman Darrell Issa and member Jim Jordan asked FBI Director James Comey to answer some questions about the investigation and brief the committee.
