Justified by decree

Justified by decree
    To grab power and repress the people, governments need to just decree something legal or illegal. Today a New York judge just abjures the 4th amendment by condoning spying on citizens here in America. Yesterday many governments around the world just arrested people for “abusing democratic freedom,  “undermining national unity,” or “offensive behavior.” Of course, each offending country was NOT democratic, was  AGAINST national unity and was persecuting THEIR versions of offensive behavior.
    So nothing’s new going into another happy new year!
