The next Pope

The next Pope of our Catholic Church should be a successor of St. Peter following a continuous line of leaders of the Faithful. As Papa, father, the Pope’s calling corresponds to that of every Catholic - to strive to be a saint. Yes, much of our popular culture is rot but goodness can still be found in believers who hope for Heaven and who love Christ’s church with its unchanging ( and revelatory) traditions. We are still trapped into mortal and venial sins by succumbing to our weaknesses in the face of temptations from Satan. That damn ‘Screwtape’ still sounds his call just as loudly as the soothing angelic voice of an avatar of Bishop Fulton J. Sheen. Take one or leave one. Nothing should or ever will change in the true Church.
