Synchronism

Synchronism On July 24, 1944, Americans put 15,000 men on the White 1 and White 2 beaches of Tinian ( an island in the Pacific Theatre of World War II) about the same time as the Red Army reached the Vistula river in Poland, General Bradley broke out in Normandy, France and Mark Clark’s armies started pushing north of Rome, Italy. All these operations took place at about the same time. Imagine the manpower required for this synchronism. WWII was won not just by battle triumphs, but also by the “culture of encouragement, meaning a national culture that encouraged progress driven by “tweakers” and “adapters,” who we today call “entrepreneurs.” We won’t win diddly squat going forward if Obama and his “administration of meddlers have their way instead of the entrepreneurs.
