Obama Manifesto What will it take to wake up Democrats? When will you Democrats understand that it is acceptable to vote for local politicians who represent positive values but dangerous to support a President if his path aims to ‘radically transform’ America? First let me briefly recount a very dark story about a POW captured in VietNam. Starved and shackled in a cage from 1963 - 1968, he experienced first-hand the Communist ideology. His freedom depended upon his re-education to see the ‘light.’ He repeatedly suffered from dysentery, fungus and disease. Rice was virtually his sole, insufficient source of nutrition. At one point, he was forced to sleep without a mosquito net for three nights, virtually eaten alive by blood-sucking insects. Each morning he was asked by a cadre ( loyal follower of the NLF, Northern Liberation Front), “Did you sleep well?” Repeatedly he was told: “Speak the truth; act according to your conscience, but don’t criticize the Front.... you are free to speak and ask what you don’t understand and don’t believe, so the Front can explain to you the correct path. You must decide now your fate and we are here to help you choose the correct path.” Hundreds of hours of Communist instruction (and imposed suffering) were designed to enlighten him of U.S. imperialism and the righteous Communist cause. “Write the truth. ...You must see clearly the lenient policy of the National Liberation Front towards you.” True believers were always on script until the prisoner ‘knew’ that four fingers were really five. Of course, Communist reality was a lie and cruelty surrounded the American POW. Sport for cadres involved clipping an eagle’s wings to prevent flight, plucking all a crane’s feathers or repeatedly dunking puppies until at the point of downing. Sports always ended in death. The NLF was like a 5th column for the Communist North Vietcong. Having infiltrated the South, they ‘pretended’ to uphold the humanitarian policies of the Geneva Convention but ultimately if you did not write the truth ( which was a lie) you would be transferred to the “Enemy and Civilian Proselytizing Section at Zone ( meaning torture and eventual execution). My story, Democrats applies today. Why would anyone support Obama’s communist vision of a transformed America? Democrats who support Obama dismiss blatant evidence that his politics are socialistic, create class warfare and aim to punish success. You Democrats ignore his excessive spending and narcissism. You cannot see that he was elected President as a socialist sympathetic to communism who rules as a fascist. Fascism is a centralized, autocratic regime with an economic system based on state-controlled capitalism. Socialism is the intermediate period between capitalism and Communism. Obama’s fascism facilitates the long march to communism. Fascism is characterized by regulation of private enterprise, a hostility to money, interventionist economic policies, an inclusive national culture, identification of enemies and scapegoats, control of the mass media, rampant cronyism (collusion between business and government not a free market), disdain for human rights and support for unions and strikes. Anything sound familiar, Democrats? Even Obama’s planned (but cancelled) acceptance speech in a 70,000 seat stadium mimicked a typical Hitler rally. Why the take-overs of special businesses and. banks? Why Obamacare? Why the selection of winners like GM and unions ( bailed out) and solar and wind energy? Why losers - like God, guns and wealth - that must be punished? A government that plays the part of a bully says George Orwell, is a synonym for fascism. Obama’s cadres make rules that advance the struggle to limit our freedoms. Liberal Democrat judges, unions, lawyers, politicians, journalists and university professors exercise enormous powers to transform our American traditions. To ensure loyalty at local and state levels, the fascist regime provides subsidies and grants willy nilly. ODOT even received $150,000 to fund shop equipment for a local city. The bigger the fascist government the smaller the person who melts down for the collective good. When the head of the Democrat National Committee accused Republicans of not speaking the truth at their convention, precisely the opposite is true. Michele Obama, reminiscent of Snowball in “Animal Farm,” delivered a Democrat convention speech that was pure Orwellian in the depth and breadth of its lies. When Obama said we all should pay our fair share, you know 50% of Americans don’t pay federal income taxes. When Obama said we should all play by the same rules, you know that some businesses and individuals are more equal than others. The Chinese Communists thrilled to the use of xuanchuan, their version of propaganda, which masqueraded as shared responsibility and sacrifice on the long march possibly alluded to by Obama as the “long road” in his convention speech. Unfortunately the job of today’s press is to serve Obama and sever truth from the electorate. At Arlington Cemetery, in 1986, a memorial to wartime journalists was inscribed : “One who finds the truth lights a torch.” Our media light no torch; they carry water for Obama. Wake up Democrats. When will you see that eventually the windmills will stop turning, the Chevy Volt will sit dead in the driveway and your children or grandchildren will listen in a darkened room listening to their iPods as they stare at faded Obama posters on the walls? Democrats, with whom should you stand? With liberal Democrats who often use profanity, lies and name- calling against those who hold opposing views? With blind allegiance? My story ends happily for the American POW rescued after 5 years in Hell. He finally arrived home in America where he could write in his book: “I had reached out and touched the light.” Wake up Democrats, and see the light in the voting booth in November.
