Immigration Insanity
Today’s insanity as usual involves the devil in the details. Remember the amnesty plan for illegal immigrants? Well, 82,000 have applied. In August, only 29 were approved. Wow! The applications reflect only 7% of the 1.2 million eligible to apply. Another 1600 are awaiting final review but final approval could take as long as FOUR to SIX months because of problems with overseas birth certificates and legal advice. Wow! Even if an application is completed, the fun is not over; applicants are fingerprinted and photographed and a back ground check is performed before a decision is made to grant ‘deferred action.’ Beneficiaries get a two year reprieve from deportation and a work permit which also must be REVIEWED. Wow!
Are you getting a picture of a not so big deal the big O offers illegal immigrants? Wow! All is not as it seems in the Obama world.
