Logotherapy View of Obama

“To be sure, people tend to see only the stubble fields of transitoriness but overlook and forget the full granaries of the past into which they have brought the harvest of their lives: the deeds done, the loves loved, and last but not least, the sufferings they have gone through with courage and dignity.” So writes Victor E. Frankl in his landmark bestseller, “Man’s Search for Meaning, after his survival from Auschwitz and development of a pychotherapy known as ‘logotherapy.’ If Obama is re-elected this upcoming election, each person will need to dredge up the entire harvest of his past life and adapt what Frankl calls a ‘tragic optimism’ for the future of America..
